Out of all the learnings over the years of being an entrepreneur, if I had a way to go back in time and give my younger self a tip it would be this: be patient. Entrepreneurship is a series of iterations and the best way to live that reality is to enjoy the beauty in the “draft version of your business”. It’s important to understand and accept that when we start a business, we’re in a constant state of “work-in-progress” which greatly conflicts with our expectations of having a finalized business from day 1. This week I talk about the risks and the impact it can have on our business to set the wrong intentions and expectations.
