A self-coaching ritual for when you want to give up.

Dear creative mind, if you can relate to feeling like you want to give up... You’re not alone. This episode will be helpful for you if you’re looking to find a simple and streamlined way to guide yourself out of a rut, or carve a path to reach your creative goals with less resistance. So grab your notebook and let’s go through a coaching ritual together.

Note: Coaching is not therapy. If you're navigating feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, please seek out support.

The coaching ritual:

  • What’s present for you right now?

  • If you were to paint a picture, what would it look like?

  • If you were to travel into your heart, what feelings would you find?

  • What do you wish to experience in your future? What are you hoping for? How would you like to feel?

  • What would the path from the present moment to your desired destination look like? What are the big milestones you need to achieve?

  • What is currently standing in the way of this vision? What challenges are you facing?

  • What can you learn from the past? Is there a situation, similar or not, that may provide lessons, insights or wisdom to find solutions?

  • In what ways can you potentially overcome or navigate the obstacles on your path?

  • What action are you willing to take? What can you commit to?
