How to Overcome Creative Blocks: Fear of Success and Growth

In this episode, we creative a less obvious creative knot: the fear of success. Not far removed from the fear of failure, they both operate similarly in that they develop strategies to shelter ourselves from the unknown. They also have the same result: they keep us stuck. It’s easy to picture success in a way that can scare us in that it can change us, especially from a creative point of view. But it doesn’t have to. We just have to ask ourselves some questions to see what is the real fear underneath.

  • Can you observe self-sabotaging yourself the closer you get to a goal?

  • What would happen if you do reach that goal?

  • What is your definition of a successful entrepreneur? Creative?
