How to Overcome Creative Blocks: Imposter Syndrome + Self-Doubt

In this episode, we explore another creative knot: the imposter syndrome. This can take on many forms: feeling like you’re never ready or good enough or that you’re a fraud, that you don’t belong with your peers, that you’re undeserving and that one day, you’ll be “found out”. How can we overcome it? Being creative goes hand in hand with vulnerability. Being creative means discovering something new and that obviously means going through a learning phase. We’ll discuss how the imposter syndrome can affect our creative-self.

  • What are some shoulds that you are carrying around?

  • Can you dig and detect a place that “forces” you to overcompensate?

  • Is there someone or something that triggers you in that, it makes you jealous?
